George Bailey was born on September 7 in the year of 1982. Bailey also represents famous Tasmanian cricket team in famous Ryobi one day cup and Sheffield Shield matches. Apart from playing in Indian Premier League, he has also played in Big Bash League for Melbourne stars. In the year of 2012, he was appointed as a captain of twenty 20 national cricket team of Australia.

George started his cricket career with South Launceston cricket club as a junior cricketer. In the year of 2005, he was selected to play for Tasmania cricket team.
